This is probably the first time in a long time that I really wanted to join the masses and shop on Black Friday. I know many people boycott this day and I can totally see why. For some reason, I was really in the mood to shop. But since we are travelling and not near any major retail outlets, I had to skip the shopping. That’s ok, I’ll just hold out for Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday suits the lazy part of my personality much better.
Know what I’m doing instead of shopping? Eating. Anyone else tired of turkey? I’ve eaten turkey and all the Thanksgiving sides for 3 meals now, I’m ready for a break. I know we only eat these foods all together only once a year, but why we have to o.d. on them is beyond me. I’m ready to move on, luckily this week’s menu helps me do just that.
