This Pizza Dip Recipe Is Always A Hit
All five of us in the lulu household have very different ideas of what should be on a pizza. One of us likes lots of meat, one of us likes a lot of spice, one of us likes veggies, one of us likes pizza without cheese and one of us like pizza without sauce. Our pizzas are as unique as our personalities.
I don’t understand how someone could eat pizza without cheese or without sauce, that is like eating a burger without the burger; it’s just plain weird. I personally love the veggies, the meat, and a lot of spice! Although, now that I think about it; I can probably do without the crust. The crust is just filler if you ask me. So who’s the weirdo now? Me, that’s who.
Or maybe not. I mean isn’t that what pizza dip is? It’s basically eating the best part of the pizza without the crust! The same holds true for this Garlic Bread Dip, and this Recipe for Bruschetta Dip. It is eating all the good stuff and leaving out the filling extras. I’d much rather have cheese as my “crust” than actual crust.
About Pizza Dip
Pizza dip is a very adaptable recipe. The base is cream cheese, shredded pizza blend cheese, and grated Parmesan. You add a little seasoning, a little sauce then top it all of with your favorite pizza toppings. I went with a supreme theme. I topped my pizza with Italian sausage, green peppers, black olives, and of course, pepperoni. You could add extra meat (I’m thinking bacon and ham), extra veggies, like mushrooms or banana peppers and add all the spice you want! Serve this dip with bread slices, chips, crackers or veggies. And if you eat it for dinner instead of actual pizza, know that I won’t judge you. I am probably doing the same thing!
