Enjoy a BBQ Bacon BLT Sandwich for lunch. Spiced bacon will outshine even the freshest garden tomatoes in these stellar BLT’s!
You’re going to love this BLT sandwich recipe. It’s truly a delicious and refreshing sandwich made with crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, and crisp lettuce between every bite. It’s a perfect sandwich to enjoy all summer long or any time of the year would work fine too.
This BLT BBQ sandwich is a great way to bring summer flavor indoors during the colder months so don’t feel like you’re subjected to only enjoying it when the sun’s out!
The Ultimate BLT Sandwich Recipe
BLT’s are one the best sandwiches ever. This BBQ Bacon BLT sandwich starts with thick, juicy garden tomatoes. Then everything else strays from the norm! Crisp spinach, creamy blue cheese, and thick slices of bacon covered in bbq seasoning finish off this kicked up BLT!
Try to find the thickest cut bacon possible. I combined the bbq seasoning with a touch of brown sugar and rubbed it over each slice of bacon, and then I placed the bacon in the oven. The bacon does not get crispy in the oven like it does when you fry bacon, but it’s certainly a lot less messy this way.
The spicy bacon, the cool tomato, fresh spinach, and creamy blue cheese work harmoniously together to give you the most dynamic BLT you’ve ever had!
