Cherry Coke gets “dirty” with a little vanilla, a little lemon, and just a touch of cream!
This dirty cherry coke drink recipe is alcohol-free and perfect for the family.
Dirty cokes are a delicious drink but making them with cherry coke is where it’s at! Made to taste even better thanks to the cherry flavor these drinks would be great served up with Cherry Coke Cupcakes. these are simple drink recipes perfect for the whole family so grab your favorite coke and a glass to enjoy a drink soon!
During the summer months when the weather is hot and all you want is a nice cold drink, grab this recipe and make a batch of refreshing dirty cherry cokes for the family. This drink also pairs well with themed parties and retro events (think about the ’50s!) so there’s plenty of fun chances to make this drink.
What is a dirty soda?
Dirty Diet Cokes are made with coconut flavored syrup and a splash of lime. I made mine with vanilla syrup, mainly because I couldn’t find coconut flavored. I went with lemon because I thought it would taste better with the cherry and vanilla (traditionally it’s made with lime juice). The splash of half and half made it creamy and smooth. The cherry and vanilla were perfect together!
Ingredients
- Cherry Coke
- Torani Vanilla Flavored Syrup
- Fresh lemon juice
- Half and half
For the exact amounts needed, please see the recipe card below.
How to Make Dirty Cherry Coke
In a large glass over ice, pour in the cherry coke.
Stir in your vanilla syrup.
Now stir in the lemon juice and half and half until combined.
Serve cold.
Recipe Tips
You can make this drink with any soda but I find that cherry coke works best for us as it’s what I enjoy drinking. Other sodas that would pair well would be diet coke, Dr Pepper, Pepsi, or cherry flavored Pepsi or Cherry flavored Dr Pepper.
You can make this with lime or lemon depending on what you have on hand or would prefer. I think that the lemon tasted incredible as-is but the traditional way of making a dirty drink is with lime juice so it must be pretty good too.
If you don’t have Torani syrup or half and half you can simply swap that out with some coconut flavored coffee creamer or use milk and some coconut extract to help get the flavors in your glass.

My hubby would absolutely love this. We drink very little soda for health reasons, but when it’s time to splurge, he LOVES Cherry Coke. I think he would go crazy for this one. And I’m betting you could do the same thing for Cherry Dr Pepper, which is my fave… 🙂
