- Chopped turkey
- Quick-cooking long grain and wild rice mix
- Butter
- Celery ribs
- Onion
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Cream of celery soup
- Sour cream
- Milk
- Salt
- Shredded cheddar
- Bread crumbs
- Chopped pecans

How to Make Turkey and Wild Rice Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and spray the inside of an 11×7 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set it aside.
- Prepare your quick-cooking wild rice according to the package instructions.
- In a larger skillet, melt your butter and add in the celery and onions. Cook until soft. This should take about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped cooked turkey, the condensed cream soups, sour cream, milk, and salt.
- Add in the rice and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir together carefully until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into your baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese and the pecans and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheesy is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

You can add in dried cranberries for a turkey wild rice cranberry casserole. Stir them in with the first cup of cheese when making the filling or use them on top with the pecans.

Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey, chopped
- 2 boxes quick cooking long grain and wild rice mix (6.2 oz)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 celery ribs
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz)
- 1 can cream of celery soup (10 3/4 oz )
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 11 x7 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Prepare rice according to package directions.
- In a large skillet, melt butter add celery and onions and cook until soft, about 10 minutes. Stir in turkey, soups, sour cream, milk and salt. Add in rice and 1 cup of cheese. Carefully stir until mixed. Pour onto prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cup of cheese and pecans and bake an additional 5 minutes
